Assistant integrations

Use Kefi in Claude or ChatGPT

Find upcoming concerts or bring your past shows into Kefi.

Start with public shows by artist or city. A copied prompt guides setup; you still add the connection in your assistant’s settings. It cannot install a connector or sign you in by itself.

Connection details

Remote MCP URL

https://kefi.show/api/v1/mcp

Public catalogue only · No authentication · Directory listing pending

If your host cannot reach Kefi or discover its tools, setup is not complete. Do not enter credentials to work around a connection error.

Claude

Public show catalogue

Copy this prompt, paste it into Claude, and follow the supported connection steps. Your account or workspace controls availability.

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and add a custom connector using the URL below. Enable Kefi in your conversation and review the available tools.

ChatGPT

Public show catalogue

Copy this prompt, paste it into ChatGPT, and follow the supported connection steps. Your account or workspace controls availability.

In ChatGPT, open Plugins and use the plus button → Add custom MCP server. Enter the URL below and choose no authentication for the public catalogue. Review the host’s warning yourself, then check the discovered tools.

Import past shows from Gmail

Your assistant finds concert receipts. You choose which shows belong in your private Kefi diary.

  1. Connect Gmail in your assistant and select the mailbox you want to search. Kefi does not receive your Gmail login or raw messages.
  2. In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins → plus → Add custom MCP server. Name it Kefi history, enter https://kefi.show/api/v1/mcp-agent, and choose OAuth. Use dynamic client registration (DCR) if asked; no manual client secret is needed. Review the host’s warning and create and install the plugin. Availability depends on your account and workspace.
  3. Start the Kefi connection in your assistant, sign in to Kefi, and approve the history permissions. In your conversation, select both Gmail and Kefi history. Ask it to show the linked Kefi account before searching.
  4. Paste the prompt below. Start with a year or a few artists if you have many receipts. The assistant proposes shows; a ticket purchase alone does not confirm attendance.
  5. Open Review imports, select the shows you attended, check the attendance confirmation, and choose Add selected to diary. Verify them in Show diary.

Connections last one hour. Reconnect in your assistant if access expires. You can revoke Kefi access at Manage history connections; disconnect Gmail separately in your assistant.

If something does not work
  • Only see search_shows, get_show or display_shows? You connected the public catalogue. Add the separate history URL above and refresh the host’s tools.
  • Gmail says connected but no mail tools appear? Enable Gmail in this conversation or try a new conversation. If unavailable, explicitly authorize a browser-capable assistant to read selected receipts, or provide just artist, date and venue yourself. Never paste passwords, tokens or ticket barcodes.
  • Wrong Kefi account? Stop before submitting, disconnect the history connection and reconnect with the intended account.
  • Import interrupted? Ask the assistant to check pending imports and retry the exact batch. Already recorded and duplicate results do not add another diary entry; corrections need a new item key.
  • Missing or uncertain date? Correct it before import. Check venue and city where known; do not guess. Merge receipts and VIP upgrades for the same show.

The production import flow has been tested using Gmail in Chrome and Kefi OAuth/MCP. Native ChatGPT desktop hosting and directory approval are separate checks. Other assistants need support for remote MCP with OAuth and a separately authorized email source.
